MOVEMENT CLASSES FOR ADULTS ALIGN -STRETCH -STRENGTHEN
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
FIRST CLASS FREE THEN DONATION BASED
WE WILL FOCUS ON:
1. Posture check - SPINE ALIGNMENT
You will get personal attention in order to achieve/maintain a good posture as I will work with a small group of people.
2. Stretch tight muscles - STRETCHING EXERCISES
Stretching increases the range of motion and flexibility of your spine. Several studies have found that stretching and yoga improve spinal mobility, especially for adults. It makes sense that you might experience back pain if the muscles supporting or working with the spine are tight.
These muscles include:
Erector spinae- Provide support on either side of the spine. Help straighten the back.
Oblique - Supports the torso, connects the abdominals to the lower back muscles and aids in rotation.
Glutes and hip flexors- These muscles help distribute force from the lower to upper body and take pressure off the spine.
Pecs and shoulders- Rounding your back or slouching when you sit puts stress on the cervical (upper) and thoracic (middle) spine.
3. Strengthen the muscles that support a good posture - CORE STABILITY EXERCISES
The spine is our body central support structure. Your spine is responsible for carrying the weight of your head, supporting the torso and arms allowing your body to move in every direction. Keeping the postural muscles strong helps protect your spine and prevent injuries.
You are invited to a behind the curtains' event with wine and laughs. This event is limited to 20 guests.

“ Le mot “ sens ” est le diamant concentré du vocabulaire français : En une syllabe “ sens ”, en réalité tout est dit, parce que ses trois acceptations sont les trois étages de notre vie humaine : la sensation, puis la direction et puis la signification, c’est à dire la réalisation “. -François Cheng

Ms. Giordano's method, based on principles of modern dance and ballet she considers valuable, develops in her dancers a powerful center, granting them the freedom to explore the full potential of their physical and artistic expression. It is a unique approach to movement, incorporating spirals, circular movements, crisp lines, shifts of weight, slow motion, a distinctive dynamic and the capacity to veer from total control to total abandon.
We offer classes that build you from the core/foundation and allows you to give yourself entirely to e-motion (energy in motion). We guide each dancer with comprehensive tools. Our method is respectful of a healthy alignment of the back and articulations, and guides students who want to become dancers and artists seeking a long career. Our process develops from the inside out with power and beauty. We create quality.
